Description: When used as a time division multiplexer, the DCP9060 accommodates up to 30 data channels or 20 data and 2 voice channels or 10 data and 4 voice channels. T data channels can be synchronous or asynchronous, dial up or dedicated at mixed speeds from 1,200 to 64,000 bps. Each data channel can be internally timed or can accept an independent external transmit clock. The voice channels may be PCM (64 Kbps) or ADPCM (32 Kbps).
When used as a sub rate data multiplexer, the DCP9060 accommodate 5 inputs at speeds to 9,600 bps, or 10 inputs at speeds to 4,800 bps, or 20 inputs at speeds to 2,400 bps. The inputs may be synchronous or asynchronous.
