Ryan Dabbieri is a self-starter and a cohesive team player, capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining a clear perspective of the short term and long term objectives of corporate managers. Mr. Dabbieri is currently employed with a satellite service provider where he recently completed a large project with the FAA and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to upgrade the network that supports air traffic control in the Caribbean and Central America.

1998 � Present Satellite Communications Systems Inc. (SCSI) Hampton, VA

• Served as the Lead Engineer on a project to upgrade the network that supports air traffic control in the Caribbean and Central America. Maintained close coordination between SCSI, the FAA, member-nations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and equipment vendors.
• Coordinated closely with the FAA Technical Center, equipment vendors, MEVA member countries, and the Regional Air Traffic Control Center to upgrade a live network handling critical air traffic control, voice and data communications.
• Built and configured a Cisco based satellite network to test upgrades to the air traffic control network.
• Traveled to ICAO foreign countries to turn up Satellite and Microwave Links, train technicians, and assist technicians with equipment installation.
• Currently designing wireless networks that extend the satellite head-end into countries throughout Africa, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Summer 1996 � 1997 University of Virginia Solar Airship Project Charlottesville, VA

• Designed and developed a system capable of providing sustainable power to a blimp. Worked with other teams to ensure compatibility between the separate electrical and mechanical components of the ship.
