Here's what is new at SCSI.

April 23-27, SCSI will be attending the American Textile Machinery Exhibition-International 2001 (ATME-I 2001) at the Palmetto Expo Center in Greenville, SC. We will overview the satellite telecommunication services available to fabric manufacturing plants with live demonstrations. On display will be a VSAT C-band satellite antenna, back-to-back routers, and a simulated Voice Over IP network, along with other examples of network connectivity. By Utilizing SCSI's services, textile industries would be able to transfer data, communicate by voice with manufacturers in distant locations, and provide internet in remote manufacturing plants. For more information, contact Carl Moreno via e-mail [email protected] or call (757) 723-0835. You can also visit the ATME-I website at www.atmei.com for general expo information.

SCSI recently installed earth satellite stations at the Marsh Harbour International Airport and the Treasure Cay International Airport in the Bahamas. Click here to read the article written by Stephanie Humblestone for The Abaconian.
