Super T-1& T-3 Point-to-Point Service

Super T-1 Service

SCSI's Super T-1 Point to Point service provides transmission of data, voice or video on a full duplex 1.544 Mbps dedicated private channel and 99.5% availability. Each Super T-1 channel can be interfaced to any standard synchronous data source, such as host computers, Internet equipment, data/voice multiplexers and video codecs.

The Benefits

Reliability of High-quality Transmission: Super T-1 avoids multiple transfer points and so is virtually error free (typically one error in 10 million bits, or less). Another performance benefit is availability rates of 99.5% or better.

Depend on SCSI Teleport Support: Optional monitor and control services are available through Teleport's Network Management Center (NMC) in Miami, FL. The NMC operates 24 hours a day with continuous monitoring and control of each point-to-point channel.

System Description

The system used to provide the Super T-1 point-to-point service consists of C-Band satellite transmission service and 3.7 - 4.5 meter antenna at each customer site.
