Internet Shared Hosted and Custom Hosted Services
SCSI offers:
- Website services - SCSI provides one-stop shopping
based on our Internet expertise by helping your business create content for your website,
and tracking its effectiveness,
- Shared hosting services - In a shared environment,
your company's website will be housed on a secure, shared platform, offering fast start-up
(your company can be online in as little as two days), easy maintenance (routine uploads)
and lower operational costs.
SCSI will also:
- Register your company's domain name with the
InterNIC, the domain name registration authority,
- Submit your URL to leading Internet directory
services (such as "Yahoo") so people know your site,
- Validate and check all information for accuracy and
confirm that all links are working properly,
- Assist in bringing up your site and loading
content,
- Provide an e-mail address for receiving feedback
from visitors to your site.
Custom hosting services:
Your company may require that the website content
should reside on a platform dedicated solely to your business. A dedicated platform is
especially valuable if the content in your website is expected to change often or the
complexity of the site or projected volume of visitors are high. SCSI's dedicated web
services feature the following additional options:
- Custom software to perform tasks such as accepting
user registration input,
- Searching databases, internet relay, chat and news
groups,
- Customized search engines for finding and
retrieving information in your site vanity URL's (domain name listed as "www.yourcompany.com"),
- Java programming for the Internet in the form of
platform-independent applets or mini-applications,
- News feeds for delivering news and information to
your audience intranet,
- Groupware-type applications designed to share
information with corporation or among a select set of users.
